This Grade 11 Listed Farmhouse has been
home to the Gooding family for some 400 years and provides
the perfect setting for a real country style Sunday roast
or evening parties

friendly staff will cater for your every need with
both a mouth-watering and distinctive menu based around
seasonal and quality Exmoor produce.
The menu is changed regularly to take advantage of seasonal flavours at their very best. Any function will be tailored to your every need. You are welcome to call in to discuss seating arrangements, menus, wines and any of the one hundred and one things which make a celebration perfect.
We do realise how important the personal touch is to make a happy event into a memorable one. We can cater for upto 40 persons depending on the style of celebration you wish to hold.
Ranscombe has a cosy bar offering a range of beers, spirits,
soft drinks and wines. Our waiting staff will happily
bring drinks to your table as and when you wish. We
will also supply any particular wine you and your guests
may wish to drink upon request when organising any event. |

Over one hundred years ago a great fire damaged part of Ranscombe and whilst renovating the house in 1999 a charred beam was discovered which can be seen in the dining room. Also a lovely inglenook fire place was found after being bricked up for a century or more.
